Product Description
This product is perfect for practicing Kindergarten Common Core Standards of counting & cardinality and solving addition problems within ten using visual representations.

There are three centers that can be used for instruction, remediation, or independent work stations, depending on your classroom needs.

Bonus Center: Easter Patterning. 2 patterning pages included. Can be used as a printable or cut into strips in a center. 2 recording sheets are included to use this as a patterning scoot game.

The first center is 4 pages of addition sentences using various Easter items in place of numbers. The student has the option of counting the items and writing the total, or writing the complete number sentence below the items. Using a sleeve protector or lamination, makes these a reusable center. The pages can be used as is, or cut into strips.

The second center is a large Easter Basket. It is a game where the student draws an instruction card for adding 2 types of Easter treats to the basket. The student places the treats in the basket, counting out the required number of each treat. Then the student can say the addition sentence or make up a word problem in order to solve the equation. An optional recording sheet is provided. This sheet can be used as is, or the sheet can be cut in strips, and each child receives one strip to record their number sentence. It is recommended to laminate or place in a sleeve protector, then use an expo marker for repeated use.

The third center is a spin, count, and add center. The student will spin the spinner to choose the correct number of items to add. Then the student will spin the second spinner to see which item to place in the basket, adding the amount of items based on the first spinner. This gives practice adding up to the sum of 8. Optional: Have the student spin three times instead of two to add three numbers with a sum greater than 8. Black and white patterns are included in this center. Use the picture cards from center two or duplicate if both centers are being used at the same time.

Your students will be "hopping for joy" with this spring themed center!
