Spring/ Easter Bingo Game with gorgeous clip art images that will definitely give you some Spring Fever! To up the fun factor, use candy or seasonal erasers for bingo markers. Play in a small group of 4 to 6 (there are 6 different gameboards). Teach students to use words like “4 in a horizontal row”, “four in a vertical row”, or “a diagonal row of four” to get them familiar with new positional word vocabulary. Once students get four in a vertical, horizontal, or diagonal row, have them read the descriptive words with each picture. Have students find chunks that they know, count syllables in each word, or use adjectives to describe pictures.
I like to use this game in a station rotation during our Spring Celebration Day (typically the day before Spring Break.)
