This motivating 10 page Easter themed inferencing adapted book requires students to identify pictures by category, feature, function, and more to “guess” or label a named object.
Students can identify pictures in a variety of ways including: using a dry erase marker to draw a circle around the pictures, draw an “X” on the “non- example”, or use a Velcro “X” icon.
Staff can read the book aloud to the student or students can complete the book independently if they are readers.
After identifying the picture, students “guess” (label) the described object and remove the Easter Egg icon that is hiding the picture of the named object. While completing the book, the students will match each egg they find to an Easter Egg Hunt page that is attached to the book.
Categories include: food, sports, furniture, holidays, clothing, body parts, activities, rooms in a house, and more.
Features include: colors, shapes, things with fur, feathers, wheels, and more.
