This activity gives students practice solving systems of linear equations and coordinate graphing. Students solve 15 different systems of equations to complete the list of 29 coordinate points. Then students graph all the coordinate points, connecting as they go to reveal an Easter Egg ready to be colored.
Also included is the Decoration Options Coordinate Graphing Activity. Students can graph some or all of the various Zig Zags or Polka Dots. Either set a minimum amount of decoration options (ie at least 3 Zig Zags and at least 5 Polka Dots); let the students decide how much they want to graph and decorate; or, graph all the options.
Don't forget to give the students time to color the eggs they have created and decorated.
Don't forget to download a copy of my custom-made FREE GRAPH PAPER.
Here are some tips:
All points will be on one grid line or another.
A completed picture has been provided to be used as a key.
You can download my custom made FREE GRAPH PAPER from my store.
I have also found that printing graph paper directly from themathworksheetsite.com
helps out, but any graph paper will do.
Remember to copy double-sided when necessary to save paper.
