Social skills/Emotions game that is meant to target understanding emotions, relating emotions to different situations, and opportunities to listen to others' perspectives. A great way to play this game would be to encourage students to use personal experiences when describing the emotion on the card (e.g. [angry] "I feel this way when my parents take my computer away," [delighted] "this is how I would feel if someone walked in with donuts right now!"). This provides students with opportunities to make connections between emotions and real life experiences.
Teams take turns drawing cards (eggs) and working together to describe as many emotions as they can in 2 minutes. The team that collects the most eggs at the end of the game wins!
2 difficulty levels: Easy (basic emotions) & Difficult (higher level emotions)
The game includes:
-48 "easy" emotions cards
-36 "difficult" emotions cards
I hope you enjoy this game!
