Did someone call the "Mini Man Egg Painting Service?"
In this mathematical coloring activity, students enjoy coloring an Easter-themed illustration while evaluating numerical expressions with positive, whole-number exponents. For example, this is a fun and practical way to find out whether or not your students understand that 1 to any power is still 1 - all just by looking at the color of the shoes in the illustration! Teachers may vary the difficulty level of this activity by allowing or prohibiting the use of calculators.
