In this activity students will create a greeting card that uses different function curves to decorate an Easter egg.
Directions: On the front of the card (the side with the coordinate grid), you will be drawing graphs of functions that we have learned in class. The back side will include your name and the equations for each of your graphs. Be sure to color code each equation and its graph so that they are easy to identify. Your egg will need to include the following functions and how many of each you need to include: (3) linear, (3) absolute value, (3) quadratic, and (1) piecewise. An extra credit point will be awarded if you include a circle with the correct equation. Once you are finished graphing, cut the eggs out and write a special message inside the card for someone special.
