This is a ready-to-go Easter egg hunt with a math theme by Sara Ipatenco. You get 100 different math tasks that require simple number operations. Simply copy as many slips as you have eggs, cut the slips apart, fold them in half, slip them inside of plastic Easter eggs and then hide the eggs around your classroom. Have the children find the eggs, open them and then use the included recording slips (3 to a page) to write down their answers. Check their answers by having them glue the slip of paper from each egg to the appropriate spot on the recording slips. I've also included a blank sheet of slips so you can add your own tasks if you want! I reward the children with a small prize for each slip of paper with correct answers. Sometimes I use jellybeans, but I’m not a huge fan of using food as a reward, so usually I award the kids with small erasers, stickers or other similar items. Have fun and Happy Easter!!
