Do you love Easter? If so, you will LOVE this packet. It has six language arts and six math centers for a total of twelve centers in all. All centers have either a recording sheet, a printable, or both. Recording sheets are in color and black and white.
The six language arts centers covered are:
Antonyms - Students have to match bunnies together and then copy answers onto an answer sheet.
Contractions - Students cut out Peeps and use them to create contractions on an answer sheet.
Parts of Speech - Students sort nouns, verbs, and adjectives into piles on their work mat. Then, they write the correct answers on the worksheet.
Compound Words - Students build compound words by matching the top of the carrots to the bottom of the carrots. When they finish, they write the answers on their answer sheet.
Punctuation Marks - In this game, students pick a sentence. Then, they pick the correct punctuation mark that goes with the sentence. If they pick the correct punctuation mark, they can pull an egg from the pile. Have students record the number they pulled. When the game is over, the student with the most points wins!
Syllables - Match the correct bunnies to the correct basket.
The six math centers covered are:
Eggs and Chicks - Match the different clock puzzle pieces together to the time puzzle pieces.
Graph-a-Candy - Use a spinner to graph and answer the questions on the recording sheet.
Missing Bunnies - Match the correct bunny to the correct missing addend problem.
Carrot Addition - Match the correct bunny and carrot together.
Egg Sort - Sort the eggs into true/false baskets.
Place Value Hunt - Put together the cracked egg by matching the place value problem to the correct number.
Note - These games were developed for a first grade classroom, but could definitely be used for enrichment with kindergartners and review for second graders.
Make sure that you check the preview section for an example of one of the activities.
