Have You Seen the Easter Bunny? He has some pretty amazing costumes!
Laugh with your students as you build literacy skills and develop fluency and expression! You can provide a creative and cooperative homeside connection, AND study two levels of emergent readers in this 58 page packet! "Have You Seen the Easter Bunny?” (level C-D) contains two lines of text on a page, and the sight words: have, you, seen, the, I, am, not, the, little, girl. "Is It the Easter Bunny?" (level A-B) contains one line of text, and the sight words: is, it, the, not. Tie this into your math lessons by completing a graph of your students' favorite costume from the book! In addition to (or instead of) the home project, use the Easter Bunny templates during learning centers, or in an art center, to allow children to create their own disguises.
The black and white versions of the story are formatted for quick, no-fuss assembly. You will have two books from printing the complete story once. (The top and bottom of each page are the same.) Use the color version for your classroom whiteboard, or create a book for your classroom library!
These are stories that you'll enjoy reading over and over again with your students, and they will have fun while building fluency and expression!
Visit our store to see “Where Is My Turkey?” and "Where Is Santa?" a set of two emergent readers and a "Disguise Santa" project for the holidays. We also have the bundled set of three!
