This Easter themed fly-swatting listening activity is for practicing the rhythmic concepts of ta and ti-ti in combination with the melodic concepts of so and mi.
Project onto a whiteboard or Smartboard for best results.
The first set of 12 slides has one rhythmic pitch pattern per slide for you to prepare your students before playing the game. The next set of 12 slides each have two rhythmic pitch patterns per page. The third set of 6 slides each have three of rhythmic pitch patterns per page for added difficulty. Each game page comes with an embedded sound file. The key is F Major.
Stick notation with note heads is used with the solfa written beneath.
This activity could be used for individual practice or as a team game.
