Looking for a creative way to share about Jesus and His resurrection this Easter? This silly word game is a great way to share the Gospel message with kids in a Christian school, Sunday School class, homeschool group, or your neighbors.

This fill in the blanks game shares the Gospel message of Easter first and then the kids create funny stories about some Easter traditions that people have to celebrate Easter, including dying eggs and going to church.

The game starts like this before the kids begin filling in the blanks:

Easter is a very special holiday. Christians get to celebrate Jesus’ death and resurrection. Jesus was a miracle worker, a teacher, and most importantly, He was God. Because of His sacrifice on the cross and His resurrection 3 days later, we can live forever with Him in Heaven when we believe in Him. Jesus died so we could live! He loves us so much!

Then, the kids create silly stories using words from various parts of speech to fill in the appropriate category. Kids LOVE these crazy word games! They are always a hit.

The story ends by encouraging the kids to read the Easter story in Mark 14-16.

I also have a "Buy 2 Get 2 Free!" that includes this game in my store.

It's best to play this game in pairs. One person asks his/her partner to name something in the appropriate category (like a noun, verb, or adjective). That person writes down what the other person says in the appropriate blank. When they are finished, they read the story out loud to their friend. Take turns and switch roles so each person gets a chance to be in each role.

Included in this download are 2 pages: one is the story page and the other is the category page to fill in the blanks without seeing the story first.
