An Easter themed activity for students learning to solve inequalities. This activity is also ideal for a review for students who have already taken Algebra I. Students refine their skills dealing with inequalities but also their inductive reasoning skills, as the pieces will only work out in one manner.
This file contains six different versions of the same puzzle. They all contain inequaliteis in the form of a 4 x 4 grid where students match up the solution to the corresponding inequality. The versions of the puzzle differ in how the graphics are depicted and not in the inequalities. The first two versions contains Easter bunnies/eggs, which make it easier for the students to put the puzzle together. The second two versions contains nine bunnies/eggs, and the third sixteen bunnies/eggs. In the third versions, the bunnies/eggs are just found on the individual pieces, and therefore will not aid in the students putting together the puzzle. You can easily differentiate amongst ability groups with the different puzzles.Roman numerals are also included in the middle of the pieces so that a teacher can quickly check if the student is correct.
Your purchase includes a PDF file of the puzzles. Although it isn't necessary for use, it is recommended you print the puzzle on cardstock and have it laminated prior to cutting it out so it can last for years to come.
