This is the perfect preschool bundle to get you through Easter week! There are 8 different activities included and are described below.
Build an Easter Basket ABC and Beginning Sounds:
This Easter center is great for working on letter recognition and beginning sounds. It can also be used to differentiate. Children can match letters, beginning sounds, or both to each basket. There are four eggs per basket.
This center is great for working on fine motor control. Print and laminate the cards. Children can then use a dry erase marker to trace the dotted lines. There are 12 cards included.
Easter Cutting Practice:
Cutting practice is a great way to practice cutting skills and build up those fine motor muscles. These pair well with any Easter theme and I know for a fact my preschooler cannot get enough of these. They could sit and cut them all day. Print on colored paper for added fun!
Easter Basket Count and Clip:
These count and clip cards are great for a quick and easy math center. Children just count the number of eggs in the basket and clip the number at the bottom. These can be made self correcting by placing a sticker or a mark on the back of the card behind the correct number. This set is for numbers 0-10.
Easter Basket Shape Sort:
This Easter center is great for practicing shape recognition. There are 9 different shapes included . Each basket has a shape on it and there are 3 eggs with objects in that shape. Children will sort out the eggs into the correct baskets according to their shape.
Easter Alphabet Tracing:
This is a simple to use literacy center. Print, cut and laminate the cards and cut apart. Give children dry erase markers to trace the capital and lowercase letters. I find that using a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser works best for getting the cards clean. This set includes 26 cards with both capital and lowercase letters on the same card.
Easter Alphabet Clip Boards:
These were created to use with the alphabet clips that were found in the Target Dollar Spot. However, you can easily make your own clips using clothespins and writing letters on them (either capital or lowercase) These boards help children recognize and learn letters while building up fine motor skills! There are 8 boards total with a dental health theme. There are four boards with lowercase letters and four boards with capital letters. Depending on the level of your children they can either match capital to capital or lowercase to capital.
Easter Alphabet Missing Letters:
This missing letter center is perfect for working on alphabetical order. Children choose a card and decide which letter is the missing one from the 3 choices on the right. Once the child has decided, they can simply clip it with a clothespin , circle it with a dry erase marker or write in their answer.
