PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Enjoy 5 great Easter themed receptive language activites! These games provide a motivating, engaging theme for your students to work on 5 different receptive language tasks. The five activities are:

1. Broken Eggs - addressing following 1-2 step and conditional directions

In this game, you are asked to find as many Easter egg cards as you can. On the bottom of each card is a direction that you must follow in order to "collect" the card. Included in this game is:

* Directions
* 48 Easter egg cards addressing 1 step, 2 step, and conditional directions
* Wild Cards
* a blank sheet for you to add your own examples

2. Jelly Bean Riddles - addressing inferences/riddles

In this game, you are asked to find as many jelly bean pictures as you can. On the bottom of each card is a riddle describing an Easter word. The student must correctly answer it in order to "collect" the card. You can also use these cards as flashcards. Included in this game is:

* Directions
* 24 jelly bean cards with riddles
* one blank sheet for you to add your own examples
* Answer Key

3. Bunny Belongings - addressing what doesn't belong

This "bunny" game may be used to play a game or as flashcards. To play the game, you must draw a card. If you get a bunny card, you must read the 4 items on the bottom and determine which one doesn't belong. If you do it correctly, you keep the card. If not, you must put the cards back. If you draw a juggling bunny, he drops an Easter egg, and you must give one of your "bunny" cards to another player. If you draw bunny with a basket of eggs, you get to take a card from another player. The player with the most bunnies wins!

* 8 wild cards (either lose a card or take a card)

4. Check the Chick - addressing facts/opinions

Within this game, students are asked to draw a card, read the sentence, and determine if it is a fact or opinion. If they do it correctly, they may keep the card. If not, it goes back in the pile. Wild cards are also included to make the game more fun! Try to get as many "chick" cards as you can. Included for this game is:

* Directions
* 32 chick cards (with Easter fact/opinion sentences)
* 8 wild cards
* Answer Key

6. Easter Party: Listening for Details - addressing auditory comprehension

This activity can be played as flashcards, with the provided game board, or with your own game board. There are 24 short Easter stories (1-3 sentences in length) on each card for your student to listen to and also a question about the information they just heard. Included in the download are:

* Directions
* 24 Easter Kid Cards (with short stories)
* Game Board
