Happy Easter and Save $$$! Great product to do before Spring Break. Included with this resource is two Easter themed engineering design challenges (The Egg Dipper & My Amazingly Small Easter Basket). My students loved these challenges and that is why I decided to create this product. In the first challenge students will use their creativity to engineer an egg dipper that colors more than one egg at a time. In the second challenge students will use critical thinking skills to create the smallest Easter basket that holds the most eggs. You must let your students work together and become a facilitator. With time students will create an egg dipper and a basket that is small and holds several eggs. Be patient!
Included: teacher notes, material lists, student lab sheets, student data sheets, student rules and all are printable. This resource self differentiates for grades 3-8. Enjoy and have fun with engineering!
I have used all these activities with grades 3-8 as a STEM Coordinator.
