INTEGRATE STEM IN YOUR CLASSROOM THIS SPRING!
Students will hop at the chance to complete these Easter STEM activities! This bundle of challenges will have students engaged in creating an Easter Egg Basket for an egg hunting event, engineering a bird while learning about bird characteristics, adaptations, habitats, and bird life cycles. Creating a bird nest, testing bird beaks, to finally design an optimum birds beak. Engineering Easter egg rockets and launching them. Creating egg poppers, a peep palace, and finally learning to flip bottles filled with jelly beans.
Students will develop critical thinking and engineering skills as they work through the challenge. They will use the engineer design process the brainstorm, plan, create, test and improve! Opportunities for reflection are incorporated into the activity.
