A hands on, engaging English Language Arts activity to help students practice counting syllables. An Easter themed literacy center that will have your students reading Easter vocabulary and sorting them by syllables. There are 30 Easter words for them to sort into 1, 2, 3, or 4 syllables.
There are 2 choices for the word cards. One with a white background (saves ink) and one with a color background. A student response form and answer key are both included.
The pages can either be created as a file folder activity or stored in an envelope. Perfect for literacy centers or early finishers.
This product is geared toward 2nd-4th grade students. However, it may be suitable for 1st grade if you have more advanced readers or someone to read the words to students.
I recommend laminating for durability.
Please see the preview for exactly what you will receive in the file.
If you use the Common Core State Standards, there is a page outlining which standards this item works for. If you don't use the state standards I recommend ignoring this page :)
