This writing freebie includes:
"The Day the Easter Bunny Came to School"- A mini book template that students can use to write and illustrate a four page story. Each page includes a time order word (first, next, then, last). This is great for teaching students how to write a beginning, middle, and end.
An "Easter Bunny Application"- Students can draw an Easter bunny self portrait, design an egg, write about why they would make a good Easter bunny, and share some Easter favorites.
"Where would you hide Easter eggs?" - Students will draw and label four places where they would hide eggs.
"What would you like to find in your Easter basket?"- This includes an Easter basket to color and lines to answer the writing prompt.
Last is an Easter bunny template that can be used to enhance one your students' writing pieces. To save time, just print and your students can color, cut, and assemble. You can also use my template to make tracers for use with more durable paper. Please note that it is hand drawn. While I am not an artist by any means, I am happy to share my work. I also included a picture of what it looks like completed. The bunny's face is blank, so students can draw it on their own. This way each student's work is unique.
As always, I sincerely appreciate your feedback!
