This is a combination of my Easter Craft Pack and my Spring Craft Pack. It includes six crafts.
The first is a reversible bunny/duck craft. One side of this craft is an Easter Bunny and the other side is a duck. My students are always amazed at the "magic" and can't believe that a bunny and a duck could be the same shape!
Two poems, which are glued to each side of the craft, are included. They read:
"I'm a funny bunny
And my teeth are buck
When you turn me over
I'm a yellow duck!"
"I'm a yellow duck
And I'm quite funny
When you turn me over
I'm the Easter Bunny!"
The second craft is a chick hatching out of an egg. It goes along with our unit on a chicken's lifecycle.
When finished, this paper craft is a chick inside an egg. The egg can open and close and the chick can be removed from the egg.
The third craft is an Easter Egg Hunt Book. This is also a writing activity. On each page, the students complete a sentence about an Easter egg and draw a picture to go along with it. The sentences give the students opportunities to practice reading color words (blue, yellow, pink, green, orange, purple, and red) and understand positions (top, under, right, left, in between, inside, and outside).
The blue egg is on top of the...
The yellow egg is under the...
The pink egg is to the right of the...
The green egg is to the left of the
The orange egg is in between the...
The purple egg is in side the...
The red egg is outside of the...
When finished, the book is tied together with a ribbon. This is a fun keepsake to send home to the parents.
The fourth craft is an April Showers Craft. It is a child wearing a raincoat and rain boots holding an umbrella.
The fifth craft is a bunny craft we use in my kindergarten to welcome spring in March. The bunny holds a sign that reads "Welcome Spring".
The last craft is a butterfly lifecycle craft we use in my kindergarten class to learn about a butterfly's lifecycle. When finished, you can fold the craft four different ways to show each stage.
All templates and step-by-step directions (with pictures) for each craft are included. Please message me if you have any questions. Enjoy!
