Easter crafts for kids. This craft abstractly represents hidden Easter eggs in the grass. All you will need are scissors, tape, and glue. Straight cuts of the lantern and gentle curve cuts of the eggs make this fun and easy to accomplish for the little ones. They get to "hide" the eggs in the grass! Using scissors teaches kids the grasp-release motion and how to cut on a line, both skills considered to be pre-writing skills. Practicing this will improve hand strength.

All my crafts and activities are purposefully designed to be fun, easy to accomplish without taking too much classroom time (most are 4-6 steps), and incorporate multiple fine motor skills to help the kids practice and improve the small muscles of the hand, hand and eye coordination, depth perception, and grip. As you will see in the pictures, my daughter demonstrates various steps for how your kids can do it, too.
