The following Easy BIP data tool can be used to monitor one behavioral goal for a student on a 0,1,2 point system in up to seven classes (but can be used for fewer classes). A student earns a "0" when they do not perform well on their goal, a "1" when they did "OK, but could have done better", and a "2" when they perform well on their goal. This BIP monitoring system will make your life much easier when monitoring a BIP, since all graphs will be created simply by entering the data! This BIP monitoring tool is similar to the other BIP monitoring system for one goal, but in this system a child earns 0,1,or 2 points on their goal rather than just 0 (Did not make goal), or 1 (Reached their goal). Some teachers prefer to use this system, since they have more options and can rate a child a "1" when they could have performed better, but didn't necessarily deserve to earn a 0 for not reaching their goal. This system is extremely easy to use, and will provide great visuals and graphs for parents, staff members, and the student themselves when discussing performance on the behavioral goal. It will be very helpful when preparing for an IEP meeting or parent conference. It includes 20 sheets for 20 weeks of data and monitoring! Good luck taking data on your students!
