You can use reading and spelling games, jokes and riddles, and workbook pages to show mastery, but put these cards in their hands and they will learn.
For example put the stack of cards face down. The first person pulls a card and if they can use both words correctly in a sentence, or explain, they get to keep the card. Simple, fun, and successful!
