I made these math tubs to be used with decks of cards that I bought from the dollar tree and dice that I had in my classroom. Sweet! They are cheap and easy to prepare and use. The only color copies would be for the cover sheets and work mats, and the only manipulatives needed are cards and dice. I used them to review of some of the skills we have been learning in fifth grade. There are six activities all with cover sheets, teacher directions, work mats, and recording sheets.
Included are centers for:
median, mode, and range
decimals (tenths, hundredths, thousandths)
(x,y) coordinate grids (first quadrant only)
These would be perfect for 5th grade or as a beginning of the year activity for 6th grade. They could even printed, laminated, and sent home with kids to use at home over the summer with their own cards. Check out the preview to get an idea of what's included.
