Recorder Sheet Music - Skip To My Lou
This is a great lesson I use to teach my students why songs are transcribed in 2/4 time..i.e. 2/4 time "jumps" or "hops", where as, 4/4 time "walks". Also, "Flies-in-the.." is an excellent word-rhythm association for one 8th and two 16th notes. The notes used in the song are F#, G, A, B, C and D.
✫ all bars are numbered..that's a big help when you're teaching a class.
✫ big notation
✫ all note names and a duplicate with no note names
✫ colored notes with corresponding colored recorder
✫ fun recorders showing the fingering for the notes
✫ crisp images (still gorgeous when using an "economy ink" setting)
✫ beautiful projections (300 dpi )
✫ low ink usage duplicate
✫ written on Lilypond (software which renders the highest
-quality sheet music)
✫ five classroom-practice mp3's at 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 beats-per-minute (tempo)
A "Teacher Key" is also included. I recommend you use a translucent recorder when you show your students.
