This Excel file includes classroom Science proficiency trackers for schools with Pre-Tests, two or three Benchmark Assessments, and a Post-Test compared to district averages. I've also included a how-to tab and a completed example.
The file defaults to a Galileo Achievement tracker... but it is easy to edit the text if your school conducts other standardized assessments.
In just two easy steps you'll have a great visual prepared for your students:
Step 1: Enter data in the % Proficient boxes
Step 2: Click the cell on the graph that matches your data and the graph will appear.
You can print your tracker on 8.5" x 14" paper or use a poster maker to blow it up for your wall. Most teachers I coach simply display it on their projectors when they have data chats with their class.
The tracker will allow your students to see classroom proficiency growth throughout the year compared to district averages.
This is a great classroom visual for students, parents, and administrators to know the score when they come into your classroom.
