This worksheet is perfect for young beginning Spanish students to practice emotions in a fun way for autumn and Halloween. Student will color pumpkins according to the colors on the sheet (orange, brown, and black), adding a face of their choosing to turn the pumpkin into a jack o’lantern. Students will write the word that best describes the emotion they’ve chosen (bien, mal, así-así, etc.).
This makes a fun take-home worksheet to show families, and I’ve also had success using it with students who opt out of jack o’lanterns for religious reasons (we had them color a plain pumpkin and complete the sentence with "aquí" instead). If students don’t know all the colors, underlining the word in the corresponding color before starting on the project is a great reminder.
I’ve made this a Word doc so you can adjust language as needed.
