Matches Next Generation Science Standards. This simple "Everyone is a Scientist" resource helps make teachers and students efforts more valuable. Here is a kid friendly, people friendly version of the Scientific Thinking Process (from Simple Machines Make Work Easier book and accompanying lab notebook)that is easy to make into a poster. Please feel free to make as many copies as you wish. If you choose to put it into another presentation, just please credit where you found it. The original design was part of a book (Systems: The Key to Understanding Science) done for my Masters. Simone Robinson, my co-author for Simple Machines Make Work Easier book and lab book, then helped enhance it. Simone teaches first grade at a small public elementary school where both books were tested. We kept a high level of vocabulary on purpose because it created greater engagement for the students. I have since enhanced it further to add pieces that help prevent some of the troubles I see my high school students having.

This module includes Teacher Notes and background on our philosophies. The final page has the Big Question that is fun to ask every day. Please feel free to share the fun of thinking because in today's world, Everyone is a Scientist! We are the scientists of our lives.
