This item is a Cumulative Vocabulary Test for Chapters 1-7 of Ecce Romani I, 4th Edition. It consists of all the Mastery Vocabulary for Ch. 1-7 grouped by part of speech into 10 sections, spread out over 4 pages.
Each section has directions and is independently numbered so it can be given in any order and grouped with whatever other section you prefer.
For clarity in taking and grading: nouns are represented by the nominative singular and adjectives by the masculine nominative singular, and verbs are all represented by the present tense 3rd person singular. The two irregular verbs are represented as "est/sunt" and "volo/vult."
Because "Q" words are so easily and often confused, they are grouped together to encourage them to be studied together, but they are labeled in the "Q" section, i.e. "quod (conjunction)" and "quo (adverb)." Adverbs are presented with English definitions as prompts an a word bank of the Latin forms.
Includes a separate sheet with a listing of all 164 words and phrases, grouped as they are presented on the test, which is great for preparation and review.
Makes a great First Unit Review/Test to make sure students move forward with their core vocabulary on a strong foundation.
