In this activity, students use organism cards to create a food web. The cards use organisms from a temperate forest biome. Each card gives the organism name and what that organism eats or produces. The students then sort the organisms into trophic levels and briefly discuss the food web organisation. The students are then given a card containing a disruption to their food web. They have to explain the effects the disruption will have on the ecosystem, as well as possible solutions to the issue.
