This simulation models the processes of resource partitioning and competetive exclusion. Two species of barnacle compete for space on a rock. Variables can be manipulated, such as number of predators, sea level, and larval density. Student run an initial simulation, record and graph data. Then they make a series of predictions, and manipulate the variables to test their hypotheses.
