Product Description
This is a brainstorming/writing activity to be used in conjunction with a science unit on conservation, forest biomes, or Earth Day. It might also be used in conjunction with a reading unit or literature circle based on a story with a forest setting.

Students are led through a small group brainstorming session where they use creative fluency to create lists of different types of trees, different products we make or get from trees, etc. Students are then asked to write a paragraph describing a world without trees.

Included is a bonus craft/creative project for making an animal out of real leaves.
