Product Description
This activity is suitable for English Language Learners. This document is designed as a group learning guide for students to work in small groups (or alone.) The teacher should briefly introduce the topic and guide the students through the introductory passage and diagram if needed. If working in groups, one student's role could be the moderator -- this person reads the question and makes sure that everyone in the group is discussing and working on the same question. The timer's role should be to make sure that the the whole group is finished by a given time (set by the teacher). The speaker is the only person in the group who is allowed to ask the teacher a question (everyone in the group can ask the speaker to ask the teacher a question). Points can be awarded for group work. One page is collected and graded (group grade) at the end of the group work activity.
