I initially created this product for my freshmen world geography students. My students have a background knowledge about primary, secondary, tertiary, and quaternary economic activity levels. If your students have not yet learned this, they could Google the terms for the few questions that apply this information, or if your textbooks cover the materials, the students could look it up that way as well.
The rest of the material; cottage v. commercial industry, subsistence v. commercial farming, and the Industrial Revolution in terms of increased commercial industry were all relatively new to my students. These task cards are used to introduce them to the terms.
This product comes with:
-Student Answer Sheet to record answers
-20 task cards; 4 QR codes, short readings, picture inferences
