Easy to understand notes on how fiscal and monetary policy can be used to address economic problems, particularly, specific types of inflation and unemployment.
I've found that my students' texts do not address fiscal and monetary policy on their own but rather simply mention them in the chapters on inflation and unemployment. This has made it difficult for students to use their intuition to prescribe fiscal or monetary policies to address these economic problems. I created these notes in order to make up for the deficiencies in the text.
