Students can learn vocabulary pertaining to economics in a variety of ways.
.Memory: students place the cards face down and turn two cards over at a time. If the word matches the definition they have made a pair. Game is played with two to three students. Player with most pairs wins the game.
.Go-Fish: Students draw deal out 7 cards. If a player has any pairs (word and definition) they may lay them down. Players will ask each other either for the word that matches their definition or for the definition that matches their word. If no player has what they are looking for they must go-fish. Game is played with two to three students.
.Matching: Students place all the cards facing up. Students will match the definition with the vocabulary word. Game is played with one to two students.
.I have…Who has…: Give each student a card. Students will begin with the card that has the money sign. The student will read their card aloud to class and students will reply that have the card that comes next.
.Scoot: Place the definitions around the room either on desks or on the wall. Have students rotate in a circle filling in the vocabulary word in the correct box on their recording sheet.
