This presentation contains a whole lesson! 16 slides.
Specifically, this lesson is for teaching about the Phillips Curve, the theory behind it, lots of graphs and data and some of its complications and criticisms, including alternative views such as the Nairu. The lesson briefly looks at other policy conflicts. The lesson alongside some excellent teaching slides includes a handout giving a detailed look at all major opinions on the Phillips Curve as well as an excellent worksheet to consolidate and test learning. This lesson goes particularly well with the other lessons that I teach on economic policies.
I have used the PowerPoint slides to structure the lesson, specifically slides to prompt/force myself to ask those key questions at the right moments, slides to explain keywords with short and easy explanations, prompts for me the teacher when to use the different activities, games, handouts, articles etc... that make the lesson up as well. All the teaching presentations, include starters and plenaries, normally a quick discussion, but sometimes something else.
