Teach the words supply, demand, needs and sale--very basic economic terms for 2nd-4th graders. Then, using the link provided (or search YouTube on your own for the "shop" scene in Frozen) you will show the clip one time for enjoyment. Then, pass out the page and point out the paragraph to fill in. Students will watch the clip one more time to try to fill in the blanks.
They will then answer the short answer questions based on the clip, and you may even show it a 3rd time.
This is just a short way to teach the basic economics terms in an interactive way.
answers will vary for the short answer, but here are two sample answers:
5. Princess Ana has made the entire kingdom frozen, so no one needs ice at this time. The supply is high and the demand is low.
6. The price goes up because there is only one ice pick because it is summer time and the supply is low but the demand for it is very high.
