Ever heard of a listicle? Your students have! Sites like Buzzfeed often generate lists combining words and images in an easy to read format. This customizable template I created allows your students to add in their own words and images (and a profile picture) based on any topic you'd like. My students used it as a way to demonstrate reading comprehension based on two short readings, but this could be easily adapted as a get to know you activity, a list of character traits for Language Arts etc. The template can be printed and copied for students to fill out as a worksheet or students with access to laptops to tablets or computers can fill it out digitally. The example is based on a student using their iPad to annotate directly on the template. It's a quick and easy way for students to get creative that my kids enjoyed!
