This is my Edible Circuits Performance Assessment. This assessment allows students to prove their knowledge of what a working circuit looks like without using an actual circuit. With wires, a battery and bulbs, students can easily see if they have a circuit by making the bulb light up. By using edible materials, students will have to demonstrate knowledge of circuit design without that self check. Included is a teacher page including suggested materials, separate student pages for a circuit, parallel circuit, and a series circuit, example pictures and a rubric for assessing their performance.
