Editable Apple Sight Word Game Boards - Back to School September

- PDF

Description
This Editable Apple Sight Word Game Board Set is a fun and engaging way for students to practice reading sight words. Students roll the dice, move ahead, and read the word they land on.
The word list is editable, so you can customize the game board with your own sight words, CVC words, or any other type of word list your class is studying. (Tip: I have even used numbers and basic math facts.)
Ways to Use:
These sight word game boards are great for reading centers or small groups. They even work well to send home for extra practice.
To Play the Game: The games work best in small groups with 2-3 players. To play the game, students take turns rolling a number cube and moving around the board. Students read each word they land on. The first person to reach the finish box wins the game.
You will need to provide students with a number cube and a few small game pieces (counting chips, cubes, coins, buttons, bears, etc.) to mark their spot as they move around the game board.
