I love the Picnic Game. This was a fun way to use it to review procedures. The list of suggested procedures was so helpful to have as I planned my first few days of school.
Description
Start your school year off by going over classroom routines and procedures in a fun and engaging way. "Going on a Picnic" is an activity where students are actively engaged in figuring out a riddle. When they get the answer correct, they turn over a procedure card. The teacher will then take some time going over and modeling how to do that routine in the classroom.
This resource includes 36 premade routine cards. There are also editable cards with 6 different picnic themed backgrounds if you would like to include your own routines. You will also get a reflection page as well as detailed instructions how to use this activity in your class.
