File folder games are awesome! Doing all that laminating, cutting, gluing, and Velcroing to make a game each time you cover a new concept is not so awesome.
This resource allows you to customize and reuse 5 different technology themed file folder games. The trick it to make a game with blank pieces, laminate it, then use a dry erase marker to add content. Need to change it up in order to make it easier or harder? No problem! Just wipe off what you'd written and write or draw something different. Don't want to hand-write your content? That's not a problem either - just use the editable version to type in your content and add clipart before printing.
There are five different game sets:
~ Video games
~ tablet computers (iPads)
~ MP3 players (iPods)
~ Smartphones or iPhones
~ Desktop Computers
Each game set contains the following
~ 6-picture game page (print twice to make a game with 12 pieces)
~ 5-picture game page (print twice to make a game with 10 pieces)
~ 4-picture game page (print twice to make a game with 8 pieces)
~ Page with game pieces (works with all of the above)
~ Cover page and label for the file folder (the cover page doubles as visual directions for kids that can't read yet)
The .zip file includes a .pdf file (Print & Go), and two different Powerpoint files that are editable (one was developed with PowerPoint 2013, the other is designed for PowerPoint 97-2003). All the files have a full page of ideas you can use these games for.
