Description

A brilliant Get-To-Know-You introduction activity for students - perfect for Back to School or starting out with a new class!

Designed for use with high school students, but can be easily adapted to any year level with this fully editable MS Word download.

Student describe a little about themselves, their hobbies and preferences. They then move through questions about school, and themselves as students and learners. They answer brief questions about their subject prior knowledge and consider how the teacher can help them best in their class this year.

Finally, students include any questions for you (up to you if you want to answer them!)

An easy, comprehensive way to learn a lot in a short space of time about your new students. Takes approximately 30 - 40 minutes for students to complete, depending on the class and gives a good early indication of any students who may struggle with written class work. This resource helps students settle back into school and often brings up useful information for you.

A nice idea at the end of the school year is to return these Get-To-Know-You worksheets to students on the last day - they enjoy seeing what they wrote all that time ago and can be used as an opportunity to reflect on how far they have come in your class over the year.

What's included:

  • Fully editable MS Word document which allows you to personalize the worksheet questions for your subject, class and year level.
  • PDF download - good for simply printing and getting on your way.

Please rate, review and enjoy!
