Get your students up and moving while reviewing! Fill in the editable cards with any questions that you would like; classroom procedures or any content area questions. Tape a card under student's seats around the room. My students sit in groups, so I put one in each group. When you yell, "Hot seat!" students have to get up and check under their chairs to see if they are the "hot seat." That student will read the card and question and share with their group and they will work together for an answer to share and pick one spokesperson to share their ideas. This is a great informal assessment and a way to get student's attention back on track if they are off task and to get students collaborating with each other!
