Goals Included:

Goal #1: Behavior- Age Appropriate Skills

Given modeling and direct instruction, STUDENT NAME will appropriately use classroom materials on 4/5 occasions over a 9 week period.
Objectives:
1. STUDENT NAME will not lick classroom materials.
2. STUDENT NAME will keep classroom materials out of his/her mouth.
3. STUDENT NAME will not spit on classroom materials.

Goal # 2 Self-Control
Given direct instruction and modeling, STUDENT NAME will demonstrate appropriate behavior for a 15 minute work sessions on 4/5 occasions.

Objectives:
1. STUDENT NAME will keep hands to self
2. STUDENT NAME will not make mouth noises

Goal #3: Decoding
Given direct instruction STUDENT NAME will apply phonetic principles to read and spell with 80% accuracy over a 9 week period.
Objectives:
1. STUDENT NAME will use knowledge of initial and final consonants to read and spell words.
2. STUDENT NAME will use knowledge of short vowels to read and spell words.
3. STUDENT NAME will use knowledge of initial digraphs and blends to read and spell words.
4. STUDENT NAME will use knowledge of final consonant blends and digraphs to read and spell words.

Goal # 4: Written Expression
Given direct instruction, STUDENT NAME will demonstrate that writing has meaning on 4/5 opportunities.
Objectives:
1. STUDENT NAME will use basic CVC words to write stories.
2. STUDENT NAME will write stories consisting of 3-5 sentences.

Goal # 5: Phonemic Awareness
Given direct instruction, STUDENT NAME will demonstrate phonemic awareness on 4/5 opportunities.
Objectives:
1. STUDENT NAME will imitate the sounds of long and short vowels.
2. STUDENT NAME will imitate the sounds of consonants and blends.
3. When given a sound, STUDENT NAME will be able to verbalize the letter associated with that sound.
