Help your students produce productive, deep-thinking discussion with these peer editing slips for lit circles! Hold your students accountable to participate in group discussion. When students are aware their peers are watching, listening, and evaluating them during lit circle time will keep them striving to listen, cooperate, and actively participate in discussion with others!
Also included is a reflection. I have my students fill this out when we are done working in our literature circles for a novel or particular unit. It not only requires them to think and reflect on the benefits of good group discussion, but will give you feedback to help your students improve in group discussions.
Please leave feedback! Thank you and enjoy!!
