These scales follow the Marzano Framework. Your students can take ownership of their learning as they track their progress in mastering the standards.
This comes as an editable PDF form file. You can fill in the template with your grade level standards as needed to fit your classroom needs.
**Each page comes with a COLOR and a BLACK AND WHITE version.
This comes with a large template (one page for each 4.0, 3.0, 2.0, and 1.0) to post up in your classroom as a large visual and a teaching tool. -I printed mine out on card stock and laminated them so I can use each scale I make year after year.
-Another teacher on my team printed hers out without filling in the template on the computer. She laminated the papers and writes on and wipes off the scales as she changes units.
This also comes with a medium and small sized template as well.
-Have the kids track their individual progress on these.
-One suggestion is to have a scale notebook, keep all the scales for each subject so they can monitor their progress in the same spot.
-I have my student's ELA scale in their reading journal so they can track as they work and their math scale in their math journal for the same purpose.
