As students read their class novel or independent reading, they choose various tasks to complete for each chapter or section. They demonstrate understanding of setting, characters, and conflict as well as analyze quotes, themes, and symbols in the classic novel. They also complete creative tasks, such as composing a poem or illustrating a scene. You can use this with Interactive Notebooks or as a traditional handout. This is the perfect way to keep students engaged while reading!
