This bundle aligns well with any Spanish 1 curriculum, for the first few chapters or more!
This packet of worksheets contains one page warmup activities to start your lesson. There are then four brief reading passages that include common Spanish verbs in the present tense to describe people, discuss hobbies, describe school life, and make plans. There are various activities as well as open response writing prompts following each reading passage to be used as follow-up to the reading.
In the attached activities, students are called to:

* identify the verbs used in the passage
* answer true/false questions for reading comprehension
* answer short response questions
* brainstorm opposites
* write a passage of their own (simple grading rubric included)

The activities move from concrete to abstract to support independent learning!
These worksheets are ready to print! No prep needed by you! I hope this saves you some time and helps you to assess an area (reading comp.) that is sometimes easily overlooked by us language teachers.
